Our experimental robot MARVIN was mainly used in the research project EvI (Exploration of Indoor Environments with Optical Sensors). It was equipped with a stereo ccd-sensor mounted on a pan-tilt head, a panoramic laser range finder, an optic flow sensor, a radio link, and 4 PCs running Linux.
